The hotel met my needs, I really enjoyed its stunning location and nice and absolutely outstanding staff. Location: the venue was near to the main square, and Barichara. A cool bonus was nearby El Bodegon de Tonita, that offered tea and coffee.

My partner and I stayed at El Cogollo for a peaceful getaway. The location was perfect, tucked away from the main plaza, providing tranquility. The hotel's landscaping and architecture were stunning, creating a serene atmosphere. We had the entire place to ourselves, enjoying hammocks, terraces, and a refreshing Jacuzzi. The highlight was spotting a vibrant parrot in the trees. The mini hike to the hotel was worth it, and we were welcomed with a cold beer. The breakfast was delicious and served at our convenience. The staff was helpful and recommended a great local eatery for our first night.
Would definitely recommend this hotel.

My stay at Hotel El Cogollo was a delightful experience. I spent a few days there and enjoyed every moment. The hotel's traditional breakfast was deliciously prepared with care and served with wonderful energy. The staff was friendly and the design of the hotel was truly unique, combining traditional elements with a modern and creative finish. The place looked fantastic in photos, but even better in person. The mirador provided a brilliant view of the surrounding area, including a great canyon below. The location was perfect, within walking distance of everything in town but away from the busy areas. The hotel's beautiful garden setting and outdoor patio made for a lovely spot to have breakfast or simply relax. The open-air bathrooms, although not for everyone, added to the hotel's charm.
Would recommend this hotel.
